Village Jungle & Rice Paddy Trekking

Puri Sunia resort is surrounded by traditional village and beautiful rice fields. On Tuesday we offer you a morning trekking in order to feel the nature of rice, knowing how the rice field cultivated and relation with other Balinese activities and culture. Another interesting activity on Saturday is walking along entire Abangan Village, learning the Balinese living and culture while entering one of the village member house compound before walking down the small jungle. Our Guest Activity will guide you on this trekking. She will explain to you the basic information regarding the main activities. The walk gives you a chance to breathe in the fresh air as you walk through the village than to the rice field at about 1,5 to 2 hours in morning.
Morning “LOVE Street”

Keep your body healthy on your holiday by joining the Daily Morning Jogging through Jalan CINTA or LOVE Street entire rice fields. Inhale 100% pure oxygen while enjoy the long distance views of rice fields and dozens of coconut trees. The street name is derived from the idea where this street is a place for couples in Love to meet. Our Guest Activity will guide you on this jogging. She will take you as far you can go then come back at the same way.
Morning Yoga Lesson at the YOGA CENTER

There is a spacious yoga pavilion surrounded by small jungle and green vegetation. Throughout the ancient art of classical yoga, you will learn the technique to still your mind, strengthen your body and expand your consciousness using posture, breath work, meditation and relaxation. The class is conducted by our experienced Balinese Yoga Instructor. He has been teaching yoga to many foreigners also practicing yoga for years and feels the great benefits of yoga for body and soul. The class is suitable for beginner.

Puri Sunia resort is proud to share the unique skill & secret recipe. Under guidance of our Balinese Gourmet Chef, you can learn how to prepare local delicious food.
Cooking venue is inside of hotel area, and you will start by shopping in the Ubud traditional market at 07:00am for approximately one hour, where you will find Balinese spices & vegetables displayed and sold in traditional way. Traditional cooking takes place at 11.00am. It’s a Balinese traditional style compound on the stream side.
For approximately one and half hours our Chef will share his secret dishes recipes, and followed with your memorable luncheon at open dining under the palm shade. Take home our secret recipe as our gift and impressed your family & friends with your Balinese cooking skills.
Reservation is required at least one day in advance and our chef will pleased to meet you for further arrangement.

Countryside Cycling

Renting a bicycle and biking around the Abangan Village and small quiet roads and entire rice fields, watch the village daily life and farmer activities. Our reception is pleased to help you in organizing the bike rental and shows the route on map.
Petulu – White Heron Village Tour

Petulu village is located in north east of Ubud Village just 5 minutes drive from the resort. The tour offers natural attractions such as the birds that live on the trees along the village road. The birds are called ‘kokokan’ in Bali and in English are called ‘egrets’ or ‘bitterns’ or ‘The White Heron Birds’.
The best time to visit this village is around 5 - 6 pm at local time, to see them flying back to their nests on the trees after in the day flying out over the island, the villagers provides some places as view points for visitor to see the birds activities.
They provide a book about The Village History and also you can buy soft drink from them. The villagers believe that the white heron birds bring joy to them and they live together in harmony.

Pool Side Sunset Cocktail
Socialize with other guest on Friday Sunset Cocktail at Pool side, enjoy the selection of cocktails and mocktails with free dozens of Canapes. The resort Management team will host and share with the guest, accompanied with an energetic bar music from 16:00 to 18:00pm under the coconut shade.
